INSTRUCTORS & STAFF

*Stacy Davis ~ Director*	Being the owner of Dance Designs Studio, a graduate of Southern High School, Stacy went on to pursue her love and dream of dance to be on Star Search. Stacy has studied dance with many of the greats, such as Stepp Stewart, Joe Tremaine, and Gus Giodarno. She has also studied in Las Angeles at the Edge Dance Center. She was dancer and choreographer in the Ms.and Mrs. Kentucky Pageants. She also taught a dance program with the Jefferson County Public School System. She has choreographed some of the best routines and has been awarded regionally and nationally for her success. She directed and choreographed the entertainment for the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala for 2 consecutive years. She currently coaches the award winning NOMS dance team.

*Renee Davis ~ Instructor*	Renee has over fifteen years of dance experience. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy where she was a member of Sacred Hearts Dance Team. As a member of many competitive teams, throughout the years, Renee has studied in jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap, and has had excellent training in all forms of technique. She has won many top awards during her dance career, including a platinum award at the 2005 Footloose Nationals in Orlando. She performed for two consecutive years at the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala. She recently attended a workshop at The Edge in Los Angeles. In 2008, she received a choreography award at Star Systems Competition. Renee currently attends U of L.

*Sarah Deely ~ Instructor*	Sarah has been dancing for 19 years and teaching for seven years. She has been a competitive dancer for years and has won many awards at both regional and national competitions. In 2003, she was selected to work with the Hoctor Dance Caravan as a Caravan Kid, travelling nationwide, performing and running the competitions. She has worked with top choreographers such as Barry Youngblood, Anthony LaCossio, Jerry Rose, and many more. In 2006 and 2007 she participated in a duet which won top overall and 1st place overall in tap routines which she choreographed. She recently attended a work-shop at "The Edge" in Los Angeles. In Feb. 2007 & 2008, she received "teacher awards" @ Star Systems. She currently attends ITT.

A.J. Louis ~ Boys Hip Hop Instructor	A.J. Louis has been dancing all his life. Like most street dancers he has no classical training or dance accolades, but his battles were won in the street and his respect was earned in the club setting. He is Hip-Hop at its truest form. He has backup danced with many notable Gospel artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark- Sheard, Kiki Sheard, Dave Miller, and Byron Cage. Heworks with upcoming gospel sensation Jason Clayborn and also a multi-faceted group called Tha Brothas. WithTha Brothas, he visits prisons and inspires the men thereby showcasing his talent. He is over the men's dance ministry at Canaan Christian Church where he teaches what he has classifies as "liturgical' dance. He also currently has taken the position as choreographer for the youth dance team at St. Stephens Baptist Church. He runs his own company called "Next Level Ministries" in which he uses performing arts as a ministry for the youth. Through this he also leads a dance crew called The Varsity Club.

Dawn English ~ Office Assistant	Dawn was a member of Dance Unlimited's Company dance for 9 yrs and performed at Iriqouis Amphitheatre for 3 consecutive summers. She was a member of Presentation Academy Prezettes (Vocal Group) and concert choir competition groups. She was selected as a member of KY All-State Choir and is a former U of L Ladybird.

Instructor Assistants

	Ms. Nicki is 14 years old and an 8th grade student at North Oldham Middle School. Nicki has been dancing at Dance Designs for 5 years and has been on competition teams for 4 of those years. She enjoys lyrical, jazz and hip hop.

	Ms. Katie has 15 years of dance experience and has been dancing with Dance Designs for the past 4 years. She enjoys jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop and is a member of the Dance Designs "Dream Team." Katie is currently a senior at North Oldham High School and hopes to join a college dance team next year.
