Being the owner of Dance Designs Studio,
a graduate of Southern High School,
Stacy went on to pursue her love and
dream of dance to be on Star Search.
Stacy has studied dance with many of the
greats, such as Stepp Stewart, Joe Tremaine,
and Gus Giodarno. She has also studied in
Los Angeles at the Edge Dance Center. She
was dancer and choreographer in the Ms.
and Mrs. Kentucky Pageants. She also taught
a dance program with the Jefferson County
Public School System. She has choreographed
some of the best routines and has been
awarded regionally and nationally for her success.
She directed and choreographed the entertainment
for the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala for 2
consecutive years. She currently teaches a program
for Kentucky Country Day and Jacob's Ladder., plus
coaches the award winning NOMS dance team. |

| Renee
Davis ~ Instructor |
| |
Renee has over fifteen years of dance experience.
She is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy where
she was a member of
Sacred Hearts Dance Team.
As a member of many competitive teams, throughout
the years, Renee has studied in jazz, lyrical, hip-hop,
and tap, and has had excellent training in all forms
of technique. She has won many top awards during
her dance career, including a platinum award at the
2005 Footloose Nationals in Orlando. She performed
for two consecutive years at the Barnstable Brown Derby
Eve Gala. She recently attended a workshop at The Edge
in Los Angeles. In 2008, she received a choreography
award at Star Systems Competition. Renee currently
attends U of L. |

Ashley
Cathey ~ Drama & Vocal Instructor |
| |
|
Ashley studied drama and vocals with
Classic Melodies in Lou. Ky. She continued
her education at Point Park University and
Roosevelt University majoring in Drama--
Musical Theater, Triple Threat. She has many
years of stage performance and nationally
awarded for her exceptional talents. |

| Latonia
Galloway ~ Kinderdance @ Star Academy

| |
Latonia began dancing at the age of 3.
Her background involves tap, jazz, ballet,
Adajio, and hip hop. Her stage background
consists of leading roles in "A Chorus Line,"
"Oliver," "Anything Goes," "The King and I,"
"Tin Pan Ali," and "Country Tonight." She
has toured with many great bands as a back-
up dancer and choreographer. She has been
featured in numerous national commercials,
tv series and major film productions. She currently
resides in Louisville, Ky. and is choreographing a
kinderdance program at Star Academy on behalf
of Dance Designs. |

| Tracie
Gray ~ Instructor |

Tracie has taught dance for over 20 yrs.
She was a member of Dance Unlimited's
dance company from 1984 to 1991. From
1989 to 1992 she taught a dance program
for the Jefferson County Public School
system, plus also taught the show choir
at Lassiter Middle School. In 1993, she
and Stacy Davis started Dance Designs
where she taught until 1996. She has had
several exciting personal accomplishments,
including being a contestant in the Miss Ky.
Pageant. In 1992, she was selected out of 500
girls, to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.
Tracie and Stacy have competed in and won
many regional and national competitions as
dance partners, as well as having choreographed
numerous routines that have won regional and
national honors. Tracie hopes to only strengthen
the high quality of dance instruction that Dance
Designs provides. Tracie will be teaching most
of the kinder-dance program. |

| Sarah Deely ~ Instructor |
| |
Sarah has been dancing for 19 years and teaching
for six years. She has been a competitive dancer
for years and has won many awards at both
regional and national competitions. In 2003, she
was selected to work with the Hoctor Dance
Caravan as a Caravan Kid, travelling nationwide,
performing and running the competitions. She has
worked with top choreographers such as Barry
Youngblood, Anthony LaCossio, Jerry Rose, and
many more. In 2006 and 2007 she participated in a
duet which won top overall and 1st place overall in
tap routines which she personally choreographed.
She recently attended a workshop at "The Edge"
in Los Angeles. In Feb. 2007 & 2008, she received
"teacher awards" @ Star Systems. She currently
attends ITT University. |

| Ashley Robinson - Instructor |
| |
Ashley has over 13 years of dance experience.
During her years as a competitive dancer she
won numerous regional and national awards.
At age 14 she won her first "Choreography"
award for her own solo, which she co-
choreographed with Stacy Davis. Ashley has
concentrated her dance education on tap. She
also has experience in jazz, modern, and hip hop
styles. She has 3 years of instruction experience
and has lent her choreography to many award
winning routines. Ashley hopes to help promote
the Dance Designs vision of excellence in dance
education. She currently attends University of
Phoenix, majoring in secondary education.

| Dawn English ~ Office
Assistant |
| |
Dawn English was a member of Dance
Unlimited's Company dance for 9 yrs
and performed at Iriqouis Amphitheatre
for 3 consecutive summers. She was a
member of Presentation Academy
Prezettes (Vocal Group) and concert choir
competition groups. She was selected as
a member of KY All-State Choir and is a
former U of L Ladybird. |
